We are looking to create a payroll rule in SAP to accommodate the calculation for Ontario Public Holiday which will apply to Bi weekly employees. Public Holiday pay is calculated based on the four work weeks prior to the work week with the public holiday. In this calculation, how can we configure the Bi Weekly public holiday calculation?
Eg,
Period 1 2016
Date Range: December 20- January 2.
Holiday: Jan 1 2016
In the Ontario site, it said that I should calculate for the wages earned between November 29 - December 26 but the wages from Dec 20-Dec 26 is not yet processed because they are part of Period 1 2016. Could you please advise how the payroll rules should be like in this case?
